Carmen worked in the Human Resources Department at the Head Office of a large corporate from 1980 to 1983 where she realised her passion for people relations.

She was later headhunted by the KZN Institute of People Management as Branch Manager and during her 11 year tenure, she grew the branch to being the most active in South Africa, winning numerous Branch of the Year awards.

On moving to Kloof, she was headhunted by a recruitment company and after 18 months was promoted to Executive Director. Her success in recruitment gave her the opportunity to realise her life-long dream of owning her own business.
